Formulation and Manufacturing

Theo Anucha has more than 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector. He holds a Bachelor of pharmacy degree from University of Benin, Nigeria and a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of London, England. He was Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Benin from 1985 to 1990.

Theo joined Biovail Corp. in 1995 as an analytical scientist and was later promoted to Director of Formulation and Process Development. In 2001, he worked for GlycoDesign as Director of Pharmaceutical Development and is presently with Vasogen Inc., where he is responsible for the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing function.

Theo is a registered pharmacist in the Province of Ontario and has pharmacy practice experience in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. He has published widely in scientific journals.
