Miklos Shultz, PhD

Clinical Design and Biostatistics

Miklos is currently President and CEO of SciAn Services Inc., a Toronto based pharmaceutical consulting company. SciAn provides consulting services to North American pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the clinical development of novel therapeutics.

Before founding SciAn, Miklos worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Biomedical Research Division of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He was also a Senior Scientist for Chinoin Pharmaceutical Company in Hungary. Miklos has experience in the design and analysis of clinical studies in a wide a variety of diseases, including Arthritis, CNS, Cardiovascular, Dermatology; Medical Devices, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Obstetrics, Oncology, Respiratory Diseases, and Organ Transplantation.

Miklos has an MSc in Process Control Engineering and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Veszprem, Hungary. Miklos was a PhD fellow in the Biomedical Research Division at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Miklos is widely published in leading scientific journals.
